Yesterday was my 19th birthday! My last year as a teenager. For my birthday, received mostly just cash (as I had asked for) and will also soon be getting Windows Vista & a tablet. I haven't decided if I'm getting a Wacom or something else; Wacoms are so damn expensive. Might also get a hardware upgrade or two for my gaming PC.

My plan is to begin doing digital practice ASAP. The sooner I can get good with digital art, the sooner I can actually start getting paid for my work - professional style!

There's thousands of artists out there, but I'm confident that my style will appeal to others and with digital power at my grasp, I can finally start experimenting with realistic artwork via the computer. Can't wait!

Also, about to watch one of my favorite shows! Dexter's season four. My other favorite is Heroes; I'm definitely excited for that show's premier.

Anyway, if any of you have tips, hints, or really simplified - though really useful - tutorials, please tell me! I haven't really worked with a tablet much, nor photoshop. So any help is vital and greatly appreciated.

IN OTHER NEWS:
I'm working with two games right now via internet. One's a next-gen zombie survival game which I think will revolutionize both gaming and the zombie genre. My part with that game is concept art, level design, and story design. So far so good with that one!

The other game I'm working with doesn't allow me to disclose any details about it, but it's a 2.5D Sci-Fi game and its development team really blows me away with their natural talents.
